I absolutely understand and respect the whole dont expect a friend to neglect someone else all because you had a falling out with them thing. Its perfectly reasonable and I personally have always lived by it. But if a person has expressed deep personal insecurities and HORRIBLE anxieties caused by someone else--even just the mention of their name-- and TRUSTS you with that knowledge because you dont even know that person... ....why the hell would you go out of your way to befriend that person knowing the panic it would leave your friend with.... Like damn, dont boast about treasuring your friend so much if youre gonna turn around treat them like that.....
