I accepted the ALS ice bucket challenge from Alex Munoz, Sandra Moreno and Stephanie Quigley Conn. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive neuro-degenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. The progressive degeneration of the motor neurons in ALS eventually leads to their death. With voluntary muscle action progressively affected, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed. Adam has been nominated by someone too (Brandon Conn), but he will do his tomorrow :). We are both donating to the ALSA fund to help with research for Lou Gehrigs Disease. I officially challenge ARyon Sculatti, Linnea Kretz and MattRoxann Reynolds-Hanscom to do the ice bucket challenge for ALS.
