I accepted the IT position that I applied for and interviewed for a couple weeks ago. (thanks for pointing this to me, Logan) Assuming I pass the drug/health-screen, I will start on Nov. 17th. The work should be sufficiently challenging to keep me interested, but not too difficult, so as to take my attention away from being a pastor. I can leave the work, at work. A point of note here, is that I have always considered work a way to fund what I really enjoy and am called to: pastoring, teaching and ministry. Thank you all for your prayers. Mary and I love it here and are looking forward to many more years of serving in Texarkana, as the Lord Leads.
