I actually got my students before they got me today! hee hee I acted shocked and bummed out about an e-mail I was reading on my laptop. I knew they were all watching me...so I really played it up. They started asking what was wrong and I said, Wellll, I dont want to tell you, but I guess youll find out anyway. Remember those snow days we had earlier this winter? Well, the school board has decided that we have to make them up after all. Starting Monday, our school day has been extended until 4:00 for the rest of the year!Boy did it start.....What??? I have tennis at 4:00 I have soccer at 4:00 so I cant stay! etc. etc. I said, Well, Im not happy about it either, but I guess well do what we have to do. Some were saying, Wait till I tell my mom...she wont make me stay! I said, well then, I guess youll be missing Math and Science everyday. Just think of all the new learning opportunities well have! They were NOT happy! About 30 minutes later as we were lining up for Art, I said, So, youre not happy about staying until 4:00 every day? Emphatic NO! So, I said, Will you be happy to learn I just April Fooled all of you????? They all started laughing and said, You got us GOOD!! One girl said I should win an Oscar for that performance!! LOL
