I actually just finished up a piece for my Saturday radio show (11.29), discussing the erosion issue and how much money Venice is getting towards the issue and all that good stuff. The erosion really is not that bad though, if you compare it to how it use to be in the 80s. Also, once winter is gone, the sands tend to build back up. Below is Pams pic and then a old school pic from Cara Brown from the late 80s, of some of my buddies and the hurdles we had to go through to get down and surf at the jetty. Remember the dog bones ............ From Pam Cox Saw the Erosion at Caspersen beach this morning. Hardly any beach left.
