I actually used to DO this in bringing in rescued racehorses to our farm. They could be solid color or just a little white (star or stripe, one or two white socks- no flashy ones) because we had personal horses that looked like that. I had an added advantage though: John also could not tell a chestnut from a bay! I finally fessed up about eight years ago and he took it very well. Now he watches the horse colors in our pastures closely but the days of hundreds of horses in and out of here are from my younger days. You can read all about it in Saving Baby. Whinnies! Jo Anne
