I admire Bek as a designer and I get her point in this tip (one of a new series shes introducing for the New Year) but...Im a traditionalist and disagree with her advice today. I say: unless your business is strictly digital, logo changes can be an expensive proposition (signage, printed materials, logod company gear) and there better be a better reason behind the choice than simply because you are tired of it or it doesnt quite match your original intentions. Think of the worlds most famous brand images - Coca Cola, for example, is recognized the world over and hasnt changed its logo since the 1800s and has still managed to evolve their business and image. Thats my opinion. Whats yours? Do you think logos should be a changing link in your marketing or one that you set once and adapt? - Patrysha
