I admit, I like this one new Facebook change for groups. It is really helpful for spotting spammers. When someone requests to join your group, Facebook tells you whether the person just created their facebook account as well as how many groups they have joined. So if the person created their profile less than a month ago and already has joined a crapload of groups, you know that it is 99.9% certain that they are spammer. Ignored and blocked! No more creepers in my private groups. yay!
