I admit that I miss the corporate world. Or the multi-employee office set-up, at least. I miss the company outings, the Christmas parties, even the office gossip. It gave me the semblance of a social life. Even the idea of the inner workings of a companys operations fascinated me, and still does. (Plus, having a boss telling you what to do is liberating in its own way.) I still find myself looking at Jobstreet and wondering if I should give a job opening a shot. But working from home on my own time is precious, too. I can take long naps whenever I want. I can choose not to work, or take my work to a coffee shop. I can freely work on personal projects and take courses. I dont have to worry about traffic. I can do lots of things I wouldnt have been able to do in a regular job. But theres always the pressure to earn (and find more ways to get passive income). I dont really have a point with this post.
