I admit that the technology now is so much different than it was when I went to school and when I started to do film. When I shot my first films I used a video camera and never had to change the lenses. Now with the DSLR crave I have to educate myself on lenses. The cinematography I.Q. of someone shooting with the DSLR cameras today is much higher than your average college graduate or someone who was introduced to film and video many years ago. I feel like I am literally learning another trade with all these different lenses. Its amazing how meticulous everyone has become with their need for manual control. These lenses are not cheap. Got damn.
