I agree. And for a horse when a horsefly bites him. I was once told to correct my horse for attending to a horse fly and that he should not be allowed to in case a horse fly landed on him during a dressage test. He should learn to ignore being bitten by horseflies. This is why I dont do dressage. If he has a horsefly its like hay in your bra or pants for goodness sake! Would being punished make it any easier to ignore? I dont think so. Dear dressage judges. Award points to kind people who are no longer at risk of dying on the dressage field if their horse needs to stop to get rid of a fly. Thank you.
