I agree....he should have negotiated with PML N to prolong their illegitimate rule.....he should have compromised....he should have been flexible on rigging allegations.....he should have been more nice to them....etc etc.........but fortunately for the poor & doomed people of Pakistan and unfortunately for the ruling corrupt elite.....he is not like that!.....he has emerged as a light of hope to free this country from draconian rule and has refused to be like our typical for-sale politicians. He is rude...He is arrogant....He is impatient.....He is proud....He confronts people right on their face.....etc etc........but he is honest, sincere and committed to do good for the people of Pakistan....the attributes which compels me to continue to support him in these hard times. We cant wait for Angels to come from heaven to rescue us!....can we?? He is civilized & brave enough....more than us (or we can call him foolish) ....to call a robber.....a robber, a murderer....a murderer, a traitor....a traitor..........and his vocabulary is simple and meaningful...no confusions!.......as a robber remains a robber.....no matter how much wealth or power he has accumulated until he is punished for his crimes. We all should seriously think if IK fails, who else will come forward to fight against these evil forces of status quo to serve justice to the common man? Who will stop them from plundering wealth of our country? If you have a better choice, please also let me know.....so that I may stop supporting Imran Khan! In the end, please read excerpts “Letter From Birmingham Jail” By Martin Luther King Jr. In your statement you assert that our actions, even though peaceful, must be condemned because they precipitate violence. But is this a logical assertion? Isnt this like condemning a robbed man because his possession of money precipitated the evil act of robbery? Isnt this like condemning Socrates because his unswerving commitment to truth and his philosophical inquiries precipitated the act by the misguided populace in which they made him drink hemlock? Isnt this like condemning Jesus because his unique God-consciousness and never-ceasing devotion to Gods will precipitated the evil act of crucifixion? We must come to see that, as the federal courts have consistently affirmed, it is wrong to urge an individual to cease his efforts to gain his basic constitutional rights because the quest may precipitate violence. Society must protect the robbed and punish the robber.
