I agree with Caroline. Very upset abut this news - If Irish Theatre Magazine goes dark, I believe it will be a major loss for criticism and theatre coverage in Ireland. I haven’t been attached to the publication for nearly 6 months, but I know the team fought hard to keep it afloat. I had the pleasure of working with many talented, patient, eloquent writers– who thought nothing of putting in a sleepless night or setting alarms at 5am to meet a deadline. ITM worked with approx. 100 writers during my time there, motivated by a passion for live performance and a respect for those that make it. Thanks to all writers, producers, publicists, Festival collaborators, former ITM colleagues and importantly the theatre makers who made that time a pleasure.
