I agree with Raymond, Kelly, Eugene, and Erick. Discovery use to be my favorite channels. I looked at for myself and my kids as educational. Now, when I have to explain what mockumentaries are and that they are not all factual just so they can increase ratings, it saddens me. What infuriates me further is when I am actually watching an educational program with my 4 yr old and am interrupted by a pop-up or commercial for their new Gears, Fears, and Rears night. Argh, it would be nice to have the channel keep those type programs AND the advertisements for them to time slots where children are IN BED..... Or better yet! Not have them at all. I know Im not the only one who would rather not see that stuff on Discovery. I know you cant do anything about it, but I did want you to know how much I appreciate you, your comments, your work ethic, and Dirty Jobs. My 18 yr old son still loves watching the episodes on Netflix each night. Thank you, Mike!
