I agree with doing whatever it takes to keep the public safe. Please consider that healthcare workers not only sacrifice their safety (infectious and violent patient exposures), time (by working nights, weekends, and holidays), and lives (to get their degrees and maintain certifications) but now health care professionals may have to agree not to travel on an airplane or go to a sporting event because they have to be quarantined due to the nature of the job. Im not saying we shouldnt comply. Instead, I hope people would stop blaming health care workers (but evaluating how to improve processes and protocols is preferred), and I hope there is more focus on thanking health care workers for their best efforts to keep people and society safe.
