I agree with the statement this video makes but I must say the door swings both ways. Girls, boys, women, and men are all subjected to so much social stigmatization that I find it sickening, even revolting. Furthermore, I believe those socializations do nothing but drive wedges between males and females. We are human first and our genders second. Its not to say there are not differences between the genders. There are, but they are natural and they are what draw us together. I firmly believe most of the differences are learned and socially constructed, not to mention total BS. As I see it, there is only one scenario when/where gender truly matters to me. We are who we are. PERIOD!
