I almost missed the memo that today is National Spouse day! My goodness, how can I even begin to organize my words for this one? For the past 10 years, this man has been my best friend; through the brightest of days and the darkest of nights. He loves me without expectation, supports me in anything that I do and holds me when I feel like the world is crumbling beneath my feet; no matter how many times I demand for him to just leave me be. He has given me the most beautiful, chaotic and AMAZING family that a woman could only ever dream to have. He works harder than anybody I have ever seen; yet he still comes home to change diapers and run the vacuum. He is the most incredible father to our children. He is not nearly as spontaneous, hyper or adventurous as I am, as a matter of face he is my exact opposite, but he just loves his children in a way that would make anybodys heart melt. You know, I remember our first year of marriage. Everybody always told me to give it a few years; that the hand holding, snuggling and the butterflies would disappear. April 1, we will celebrate 10 years together. I can happily say that he still holds my hand, snuggles with me on the couch and I still get butterflies when I look at him. (I guess my intuition about one day marrying a German man was on point...hehe) And to think that we got married for $50 wearing plaid...lol Thank you, Tim,for making our life so wonderful. I love you.
