I almost weep at the sight of this. Others wont care until we do. Black lives do matter, but they matter from the time you beginning raising them, not just at the moment of national outbreak. Some may not like my opinion, but I have been a black boy and have been racially profiled, but my parents and my village worked to ensure that myself and well as others did not become a static. Black lives do matter, but do they matter enough for you to now start going to your city council meeting. Do they matter enough for you to go mentor kids at the elementary school. Do they matter enough for you actually to go and VOTE. When the hype of these protest end do they matter enough to get the real groundwork done. I wont speak on this topic again but do they still matter when it is you who has to do the work to ensure others see they matter? That a question you have to answer.
