I also encourage reading on local militias. Every organization I can find states clearly their intent is not to start a revolution but to work in support of local communities and in defense of our Constitution. I fear we are not far from (or are already at) the point where these patriots will be labeled extremists or radicals in an attempt to sway public perception of their objectives. Read about Concord and Lexington. No doubt the British considered the local militias to be a threat. The real question is why?. The local militias and the federal government should have exactly the same objectives. When their objectives are different - and evidence of this happening again is increasingly clear - local militias should be seen as a threat... that is exactly their purpose. Governments, in a world history perspective, are NOT good protectors of human rights. As the legal battles heat up regarding the second amendment, I encourage you to read - be informed. Inform your friends and neighbors. This is too important to think the problem is over there. It will be here before you know it.
