I always admired Bill Cosby. His show in the 80 showed that an inner city minority family could be successful and to kid from Brooklyn that was BIG. As i grew up i learned of his inner city roots in Philly. I listened to many of his speeches and even tried to purchase tickets to see him perform but it was sold out. Over the years he been called a sell out, an uncle tom, and many other names for his simple and calculated opinions. In synopsis he holds individual accountable for personal action and growth. Personally, i have agreed with the great majority of what he says and how he say its. Dr. Cosby is in my mind a Leader by example and who influence and virtue should be consider above most of current day so called activist (Jackson Sharpton ect). I will go further and say he is the modern era embodiment of Dr Kings Vision. I understand the weight this opinion, but i rather someone disprove my opinion rather than me providing the many reason i hold it to be truth. Sadly he wont be appreciated until he gone.
