I always enjoy attending the Richmond County Law Enforcement Prayer breakfast on the first Monday each month. Thanks to Fellowship United Methodist Church in Hamlet for hosting almost 100 law enforcement officers today and preparing a great meal. Area churches rotate hosting these breakfast meetings... we are grateful for their support. These men and women serve our communities in so many ways, not only in enforcing the law but in making our neighborhoods, streets and highways safe. A special thanks to Rev. Frank McQuage who organized these law enforcement breakfast meetings 14 years ago and has served as Chaplain for the Sheriffs Department for 30 years.
