I always feel like in honor of Labor Day, no one should go to restaurants or buy anything to tell retailers, Hey, give your valued employees a much deserved paid day off. Then I think maybe I want a Starbucks, to see a movie, and or buy some last minute back to school crap and I think, Man, I sure am glad I have the day off. Too bad that guy has to work as I buy stuff. I always think its a little weird that the day were supposed to take off to support the laborers is the day all the laborers have to work. That THE ONLY PEOPLE NOT working are those with non-labory jobs or the extremely affluent. Thank you to everybody working today. Thank you to my barista and the sales dude at Target. Thank you gas station attendant. Thank you ER nurses and doctors. Thank you police and emergency workers. Thank you wait and support staff at the restaurants. Thank you truck drivers, bus drivers, golf caddies, and life guard chick at the pool. Thank you to everyone who does something to make life cleaner, easier, better, safer, more full of possibility and enjoyment for the rest of us. :-)
