I always have an easier time staying on track with my nutrition when I have a plan. On a crazy, busy day spent running all over creation (we all have these days!), a great way to prepare is a yummy smoothie. Having a plan also helps me to feel more in control of everything! When I feel in control I am at peace. And when I am at peace I am a happier person :) Being happy is much better for my mind, body and I think everyone around me enjoys it too! Believe me, a bitter tasting smoothie is not my cup of tea! Here are two I just love. One as a treat, the other as a full meal. Enjoy and have a very happy day! CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER Ingredients: 1 Cup Almond Milk 1 Banana 1 Tbsp Natural Peanut Butter 1 Tbsp Natural Cocoa Powder 1 Tsp Vanilla 1 Tsp Stevia 1 Tsp Cinnamon 1 Scoop Vanilla UMP (Ultimate Muscle Protein Powder) Handful of Ice Cubes if desired GREEN MONSTER SMOOTHIE Ingredients: 1 frozen sliced banana 1 Tablespoon peanut butter 1/2 cup 0% Vanilla Greek yogurt 1 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze (or other kind of milk) 4 cups baby spinach (or more, or less) 1-2 Scoops Vanilla UMP I LOVE that you cant really taste the spinach in this one! Directions: Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
