I always heard drinking water was good for you (I hated water) and since Ive been working out I have challenged myself to follow suit and drink at least a gallon a day! Seems like a lot but its doable! Just be prepared to use the restroom ALOT! The recommended amount when training to lose or maintain your weight is at least 1/2 your body weight daily! For me I researched and needed to know exactly WHY Im doing this! Lol, so I thought id share and maybe you find yourself in some of these! I have been seeing results along with clean eating since starting. The biggest one being no water retention which kept my feet and ankles swollen and it has been assisting my weightloss! Im excited! Here it goes! Drink up! Benefits of drinking water: 1. Hydration 2. Aids with proper functioning of your metabolism 3. Keeps skin healthy 4. Aids in healthy weight loss 5. Prevention of water retention 6. Helps you sweat while exercising but also helps replenish 7. Helps with digestion and detoxing 8. Maintenance of muscle tonality Info derived via livestrong Again this is what has helped me, Im no expert and dont claim to be, but hopefully this encourages you to drink more!
