I always learn so many things when attending seminar, but when deciding on what to share, I decided I must share on a topic that affects everyone. One of the classes I attended was Brain Based Wellness. Most people know they are stressed, but they don’t understand the impact it has on their health. Stress destabilizes the entire central nervous system. The National Institute of Health states that 90% of illness is related to stress. The purpose of the chiropractic adjustment is to normalize and maximize brain function. The adjustment is a reboot of the brain. Consistent chiropractic care is the most important thing you can do for your health to reestablish brain balance and neutralize stress. Proper exercise along with proper nutrition, adequate sleep, and other stress relieving techniques, such as deep meditation and rhythmic breathing, are also important to support the body in releasing stress.
