I always wanted to be a husband first before a father, that being said, Heather and I waited for a few years to start trying to have kids. Well, we did, and after a year and a half of trying, I saw a few doctors, and still nothing. I blamed myself because of my past being that there was nothing wrong with Heather. So I said, forget it, Im done! Well just have about ten aquariums, five dogs, a few birds, and some cattle, lol. So Im just gonna go skydiving. Well, the next day I did go skydiving. After we were finished diving, we went to a nearby restaurant to get something to eat. There were about 8 of us. I noticed a missed call on my phone and a message to call Heather. She had made an appointment with our doctor to find out that we were pregnant. I was so overwhelmed, I couldnt believe it! I went back to our table and shared the news with everyone that I was a dad and Heather a mom. 8 years later Im saying happy birthday to the most beautiful girl ever. She has made me smile, cry, laugh, scream....all of the above. We spent 13 months comforting each other while mom was in Iraq. We have become so close that we sound like velcro every day I drop her off at school. Rator, you are a Godsend with a million blessings attached to a forever. Mommy and daddy are so proud of you and the person that you are becoming. You are of pure heart with innocence times infinity. We love you so much...happy birthday Hannahrator!!!!!!!
