I am 39 years of age and have Cystic Bronchiectasis. All the prednisone and antibiotics I have taken over the years since being diagnosed with this disease in 2009 are taking their toll. Through more research and belief I decided to set up a salt room firstly for my own benefit and then to help others once it had proven itself. I have been utilising my room for approx. 8 weeks know and have found that it has assisted greatly in helping me expel the mucus in my lungs as it appears to be more liquefied and easier to cough up. It has also been confirmed, previous to using Salt therapy that I have had the bacteria "Pseudomonas" in my lungs and sinuses. After using salt therapy for a month I did get a cold which turned into an infection, however, when I sent my sputum sample for analysis there were no nasty bacteria’s found.eg Pseudomonas etc. I feel this has to be a positive to salt therapy in itself.
