I am Charles Box, evangelist of the Walnut Street Church of Christ in Greenville, Alabama. I accepted the ALS challenge and had some fun with some very precious people. I know ALS is not fun and we are praying for all of those fighting that struggle. Benjamin Faulkenberry challenged me and I accepted. The shirt I had on was from Pea River Outdoors in Elba, Alabama. Check them out on Facebook. Helping me keep my word were four young men from the Walnut Street Church of Christ. Thank you to John Robert Holladay, Mack Acree, Josh Till and Darrell Powell. My sweet wife of over 49 years, Janice Box also helped. God’s plan is that men marry women and that they stay married for life. I am thankful for this sweet lady. Whether we say Roll Tide or those other 2 words we can join together to fight against ALS and other terrible diseases. I will make my contribution to The Kevin Turner Foundation, 6 Wild Wing Court, Brentwood, TN 37027 The Kevin Turner Foundation has been created to: 1. Bring attention to ALS and the need for a cure, 2. Raise awareness about the seriousness of braintrauma in athletes at every level of competition and its possible connection to ALS, 3. And to financially support efforts to study, treat, prevent and ultimately cure this disease. God bless those struggling with ALS and God Bless America!
