I am Jeff Andrews and I am running for County Commissioner Dist. 4 in Union County. I know I havent properly introduced my self on here. I would like to take a little time to do so now. I was raised here in Lake Butler. My Mother is Linda Parrish Scott. My father is Alvin Andrews. I have two brothers Alvin Andrews of Illinois who passed away and Josh Andrews of Lake Butler. I have six children and five grandchildren. I am married to Kimberly Deese Andrews. I currently work at Union Correctional Institution as the Food Service Director. I started working with the Department of Corrections in 1987. In 2004 I retired and sought out other career opportunities. I worked for myself doing small engine repairs, lawn service and also did home improvements and building projects. I went to work with a local company R and B Automation, a company that built and serviced machines for the paper industry. That company unfortunately went out of business and I decided to go back to work with the Department of Corrections. I went back as a food service director about 5 years ago. As a Food Service Director I oversee a multimillion dollar budget for the State of Florida. I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a large family and we are always together. I decided to run for County Commissioner four years ago. I ran four years ago but during the campaigning and election I was under the weather and unable to get out and visit the community in the way I would have liked. I have since gotten much healthier and am ready to give this another shot. I will be out in the community and visiting. I enjoyed meeting so many people out at the Lake on the Fourth of July. I look forward to meeting many more people out on this journey. I appreciate the support that I have been given and the opportunity to be your voice in District Four. Thank you.
