I am NOT a happy camper today. One of the teachers at Daisys high school (NOT one of her teachers, btw), has started a fundraising campaign for cancer research. This is great, on the face of it, but she has chosen two kids, Daisy is one of them, to pose with her for pictures that she is posting and spreading in email, everywhere. Neither kid is happy with this, especially Daisy. This woman has had the gall to pull Daisy Out of CLASS to get her pictures!!! Daisy wants to be in class as much as she is physically able, and this pulling her out of class thing is upsetting her to no end. I have emailed this teacher. I have also told her that Daisy is not the poster child for this disease. Cancer does NOT define who she is.
