I am SO encouraged and excited about all the Lord continues to do. Things that may seem small outside of these four walls are HUGE victories and celebrations here!!! One big and constant struggle for Seth since we were admitted two and a half weeks ago is diarrhea. For the first two weeks his body was literally putting out a LOT more than it was talking in. We started at the beginning on some meds that didnt even touch it, then had to move on to something stronger. Im so happy today that we are able to completely stop that medicine and that he is SO much better!!! We are also weaning him off of tpn and starting to eat again! The only prayer here is that he will begin to see food as his friend and not his enemy again!!! Back when we were learning of all of the details of transplant, dates, how long they expected us to be admitted, etc- the doctors made a statement. They said, we RARELY see kids go home before the four week post transplant mark. At that point we started praying that wed be able to go home 3 weeks post transplant. We want everything about all of this situation to be IMPOSSIBLE TO MAN, and ONLY explained by God! 3 weeks post transplant would put us at August 19th. Yesterday the doctor guessed that wed be discharged on August 18th!!! Its so awesome that God has been answering our prayers and the doctors can see that!! The only reason he can guess that date is because of the work God has been doing! All praise and glory to our GREAT GOD!!!
