I am SO excited to share with you guys these pictures from a very special event I had the opportunity to be a part of this week. Many of you have inquired about private birthday parties, and believe me, I wish I could say yes to every single one. Due to the fact that I have little ones myself, and my husbands job in the military, I simply cannot offer this service. However, through this mermaid adventure, Ive discovered that I can make a further impact on the lives of children by working with charities and foundations to either raise funds or grant wishes through such organizations. Last week, I worked with the Marichi Turner Foundation. This week, I was the mermaid guest for 3 year old Niecy, daughter of Perkins Rowe developer, Mr. Tommy Spinosa. Mr. Spinosa made a very generous donation to the St. Elizabeth Foundation in return for my appearance at his daughers birthday party. St. Elizabeth Foundation is a Baton Rouge adoption agency that provides confidential, comprehensive counseling services to those facing an unplanned pregnancy in Louisiana. They also provide medical care, counseling, and continuing education for birthparents and adoptive parents. I feel that this is a very worthy cause and I am thrilled that we were able to collaborate on this arrangement. Thank you Mr. Spinosa and special thanks to Kelly Vastine for working so hard to make bring this all together!
