I am SO proud of my son, I told him today that in baseball his teammates and friends count on him to try his hardest (he is a scatterbrain out there...some of the kids get a little upset). Today he struck out twice, I could tell he was thinking "oh no my friends are going to be so mad at me..) but he kept trying and doing his best...even more so determined with every attempt. Well he hit the ball the next two times to bat and made it to home plate. That is a big deal for him, he has such a hard time hitting or catching the ball because of his eye problems. He has no depth perception...small distances can seem like big ones. That having been said... :) we won by one point. Go Aiden, you are a big part of that victory. Just to show that determination was so big of him. He won more than just a game tonight in my eyes.
