I am Single. I might remain Single, I just dont know yet. That doesnt mean I dont like to be included in other peoples lives and enjoy the company of others. It just means I REFUSE to live a lie, and I COMMIT to Authenticity. While Im on this journey, I am learning and growing everyday. Ironically, MANY married couples are demonstrating behaviors that I DONT want as a part of my future. So while you are feeling awkward around my presence, feeling strange about inviting me to do things because there is only ONE of me, I too am feeling awkward at some of the behavior I am observing in married couples. I grow weary of you complaining constantly about your spouse, how your love life stinks, and I want to crawl under the table in embarrassment if the two of you start fighting, and FB is a pair of rose-colored glasses that is used to convince the rest of the world how happy you are ALL the time. (Really??this applies to all of us). Through all of this I have found out who my FRIENDS are. Thank you for the dinners, the talks, the welcoming into your home, the unconditional acceptance. The judgemental and single-phobic of you really need to take a look inward for a change. Your life, too, could change in an instant. Keeping it real, as always. Peace & Love. Me.
