I am Your son, I will not forget Your teaching, but let my heart keep Your commandments; for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to me. I will not let kindness and truth leave me; I bind them around my neck, write them on the tablet of my heart. So I will find favor and good repute in Your sight and man’s. I will trust in You, Lord, with all my heart and do not lean on my own understanding. In all my ways I acknowledge You and You will make my paths straight. I am not wise in my own eyes; I fear You, Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to my body and refreshment to my bones. I will honor You, Lord, from my wealth and from the first of all my produce; so my barns will be filled with plenty and my vats will overflow with new wine. I am Your son, I do not reject Your discipline, Lord, or loathe Your reproof, for whom You love You reprove, even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights.
