I am a 4th generation sawmiller. My dad and i bought a b20 timberking after he had retired from a furniture shop. And i was unable to return to driving a truck because of an accident. We started selling lumber at first. Having equiptment and trucks can be a big exspence. When we took our first portable mill job it was for a man building a cabin. He was large land owner and became a repeat customer. But we did him rite and word got out and we never looked back. We had on escavator customer that saved logs from lot clearing and we would mill his lumber and he built rentale houses. He keep us bussy when we had slack time. When 911 went down our bussiness did a well. The mill sat for almost two years. Then my friend at push hard lumber told me to come saw his logs because they had to much work building furniture and making flooring. So we did the job and wound up staying on .
