I am a Liberty fanatic. Not the college, the almost forgotten - TopicsExpress

I am a Liberty fanatic. Not the college, the almost forgotten precept that a man has the right and the prerogative to live his life without the interference of gubmt or its agents (providing I do harm to nobody elses life or liberty). This concept, and my unwavering adherence to it-has led to me making a lot of choices that would be hard to reconcile from the outside looking in. I cant tell you how much money its cost me, as I have left a couple well paying jobs for the sole reason that I would never submit to any yahoo who thought his authority was some special right conferred on him from on high. As a person with authority in the workplace, Ive always operated under a cooperative style of leadership, and let the tyranny of the market and the work dictate how things operated. Looking back now, I realize the best path to my own liberty would have been to just suck it up, make the money- until I was so far ahead I could of bought a mountain, went off the grid-told the whole world to kiss my arse. Im completely subordinate to the tyranny of the banks...to the cycle of paychecks and outgoing bills. I have absolutely no true liberty. I have more entrepreneurial ideas in a week than most folks probably have in a year-no bragging or bs-thats just how I think, constantly. And yet I lack the capital, time and the latitude to act on any of them. Because, as Ive discovered, the biggest tyrants in the world are your kids...what they need-they need. Theres no bucking that. So-I shall do what I must, maintain a warm, safe, comfortable home-try and educate my little ones as best as Im able, make them sane productive members of society-but one day, I will have my mountain.
