I am a Servant of Almighty God. Whatever God chooses for me to do, I will do it. What does it mean to be a servant? It is sacrificing your will to do the Will of the Father. I love the passage of scripture in Isaiah 55:8-9, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. There are many that want to be chiefs or the leader, but God is looking for those that will serve, those are the ones that He eventually makes leaders, as He can trust them, to do His Will. Who will be a servant unto God? Who will follow Him wherever He leads? Who will stand when it is not popular to stand, for the Word of God? Many say they are Christians, but their daily walk shows different. I have noticed some powerful spiritual postings for the Word of God and then I see the same individuals posting words and sayings that would make a sailor blush. The Word of God tells us in Matthew 12:37, For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. What is truly in our heart, will eventually come out of our mouth. I may think I am deceiving people, but God is the One that truly matters. You cant honor God one day and the next day honor Satan. In James 1:8, A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. I dont think I need to even elaborate on that scripture. Our lives should represent Christ in everything we say and do. Who are we trying to please? If we are a Servant of God, we must follow Him, in our life, actions, and words...
