I am a big fan of this guys work. Alejandro Yoshii (b. 1980) is a Mexican-Japanese artist based in Brooklyn, NY. In 2011 his work was selected for two Biennials in Mexico, the 5th National Biennial of Visual Arts Yucatan and the 13th Northwest Biennial of Visual Arts. After moving to New York in 2012, Yoshii’s work was exhibited at Governors Island Art Fair 2014 and 2013, 6th Annual Latin American Piano & Song festival; and group shows at 25 East Gallery and Emoa Space Gallery. He was awarded with the Graduate Dean’s scholarship and the University Merit scholarship at Parsons The New School for Design.
