I am a contact for the Associated Residents of Playa Negra (AREPLANE) and a friend who is not on facebook just called me about Frank. She had just heard what happened and wanted me to see if AREPLANE could file a denuncia against the school for the lack of response in getting help for Frank. I am uncertain as to whether we as an organization can file a denuncia (any idea Nina Neidhart ?) but that got me thinking that if we are gong to do something about this we have a few avenues to pursue: 1) File a denuncia or denuncas. My question is can a denuncia be filed against an entity and does it help to have several people file it? If not against the school, then who? 2) Contact the Minister of Education and file a formal complaint. I have emailed Barry Stevens to get his input on that and to see who we would address. 3) Get a petition going as suggested by Chio who has volunteered to write it up and get as many signatures as possible. Some sort of action would need to be requested such as education for the students and teachers in how to handle this type of situation. or 4) Do nothing. People are outraged about this so I dont think that #4 is an option. Does anyone have more information on what would need to be done if one or all of us wanted to file a denuncia? I will let you all know what I hear from Barry.
