I am a new mom, my son is three weeks old, and my plan was to EBF. However, he isnt gaining the weight that he is supposed to. Hes nearly a month old and he isnt even up to his birth weight. I breastfeed every three-four hours but he just isnt satisfied. (He also goes through times when all he wants to do is feed. So, sometimes he is on for an hour at a time...) I supplement with fenugreek and eat oatmeal daily. I do not want to give my baby formula, but thats what the doctor keeps pushing because he isnt gaining weight. Im starting to get frustrated, especially when my s/o tells me our son isnt getting enough food and wants to stick a bottle in his mouth every time he cries....
