I am a non-voter and proud. In response to Facebook starting the rollout of the Im a voter button, I propose those of that dont vote mobile a counter-offensive. Im not too lazy to vote, I am a conscientious objector. I have made a decision not to vote because the political system is corrupt, no matter who wins, the same shit still happens. All sides have sold out to corporate governance, taking bribes and backhanders from mega powerful corporate interests that do the human race a lot of harm. I am not voting because no-one represents me. I am never asked to vote on purposed laws, Im not consulted before we go to war. We do not have real democracy where the people control the government, instead the government control the people. They steal our wealth through taxation, through fines for not complying with a system we did not create and do not want. I am not voting because to do so would betray my principles and would support the corruption endemic in our country and throughout the world. I am not voting because I dont need to be governed. I am a sovereign human being who doesnt need to seek permission to live my life. I shall use my voice to challenge government and bring about real positive change for humanity. I shall engage in the creation of true democracy, regional assemblies of local people running their own affairs, devolution for the regions. Not voting in the current system frees me to fight for something better. Im a non-voter and proud. Please like and share and spread the message.
