I am a registered republican, but am becoming more and more disgusted with them too. We now are hearing the argument of some against a constitutionally restrained government. Seriously, wasnt that the whole point! America was founded upon a govt limited in power. Capitalism, the free market system was designed in such a way that those that abide by the rules and work hard have a better chance to succeed. Our stupidity and greed have flawed the system. e have become a nation not of absolute laws, but laws based upon crcumstance. A system where too much power is given to individuals that decide who fails or succeeds. Often times based on that persons beliefs or things they say. I dont agree with all that Rand Paul says, but I do agree with his belief in a constitutionally constrained govt. If the election were held today he would NO DOUBT have my vote. believe in very little the president says, but one thing he says is true, the constitutuion is full of negative powers..things that limit what the pres can do. He has voiced his frustration with it. Welcome to America, Mr President. Hopefully, we the people begin to realize the power of this document. If we dont, our nation will not be able to withstand a presidency like yours.
