I am a romantic. I was out the other night with some girlfriends and one happened to mention that there was a table full of hot guys next to us. First, I had no glasses which meant I would only be able to see blurry approximations of actual people, so no point in looking. Second and more to the point, I didnt *want* to look. I exclaimed suddenly, I dont care about hot guys! My husband makes me so happy and I only love him! So corny. But then I said, and I actually really do mean that. Because I do. I have been married before, heartbroken before, the same as most of you out there. I hear from a lot of people who are looking for their match in this life, and want to know how to find that person. The truth is that before meeting this awesome guy who is now my husband I did some real (and hard) work on myself to create the space for him to step in and occupy my life. I rooted out damaging behaviors, relationships, and conditions, and I healed those things. I drew my husband by working on myself first, and strengthening my connection to Spirit. And it didnt take long to manifest him. Seriously, after creating the space (which followed doing the harder things like reflection and acceptance) and setting the intention, maybe a month. But it happened, and I know it happened because I created it intentionally. I did the work, I created the space, I set the intention, and there he was. This works in all areas of our life (career, relationships, etc.), but is most cherished and appreciated when the condition you draw is the love of your life.
