I am a strong believer in government accountability. Times are hard In SA and when J Zuma said few years ago in his parliamentary address, " we have to cut our cloth according to our size", I took this very seriously. Hence i was and still am so disappointed to see him overseeing an expenditure of about 250 million rands of our money in his Nkadla compound. This is completely against his own words. This calls for us, the tax payers to be more vigilant than before in calling for all those elected to serve us to account fully. Any failure to do this on our side, will give the elected public office bearers a freedom to waste our money on their own selfish gains and ignore the millions who are still trapped in the indignity of being unemployed and grant dependency. We need to raise our hands and say, not in our name. Mine is up already.
