I am she,the one who once climbed great mountains,mountains of Kilimanjaro, Drakensburg n Maluti gathering for my society I am she,whom once walked the contours of this world living behind in-erasable footprints for those after me to follow. I am she,the one who holds the knife on its sharp edge and still survive its cuts I am she,the one who goes hunting for a lion with nothing but my untrimmed nails but still demands on manicure. I am she,the one that still walks the bushes of Africa barefooted and yet demand no pedicure of which is foreign to me. I am she,the one who used to sing melodically on the river banks providing songs of comfort as woman drain their tried bodies on the divine waters I am she,the grand daughter of woman who stayed behind and become mothers and fathers coherently as their husbands and sons took to the battlefields. I am she,the granddaughter of the worlds greatest defiant activist. activist who attacked threats to their loved ones head on and whole-hardheartedly. I am the granddaughter of thousands of woman who marched in honor of my lively hood. I am the granddaughter of she a great woman, she being my own grandmother Monye Choma.
