I am absolutely upset with an irresponsible private dog sitter and on the verge of exposing his identity in public! 1) Failed to complete the administration of the antibiotic medication that was provided to treat an infection. 2) A cut under her mouth that the dog sitter tried to hide as he apologized that he had not enough time to clean some stains under her mouth as I picked her up ahead of time. I assumed that it was food stain and thought it was a small issue until I showered her this afternoon - it was still bleeding. 3) Hair at the tail was matted even though I have arranged for a separate full grooming last week, it was obvious that she wasnt combed for at least a week. 4) Eyes were not cleaned. A big chunk was left hanging at the edge. 5) One ear was sore with redness throughout. 6) After a week into his care, he messaged me that he cant manage to bathe and blow dry her hair as the dryer I had provided is causing the rest of the dogs under his care to bark wildly. He was afraid that the neighbors will complaint. Hence, I offered to arrange for an urgent session with her regular groomer for a full session. He was highly recommended as a dog lover and went into the business out of passion. He has a Labrador and cares regularly for other Labradors while the owners are away. He offered pick up and delivery services, probably to hide his shady setup. His place was less than ideal when I finally brought her there but decided to take a chance as he was recommended by a friend as a passionate dog lover. I have always prefer to work and with passionate people in my professional life as they often delivers and exceed my expectations but this was an exception! It was another cold commercial entity that should not be in the pet care or hospitality industry. I could have blindly recommended him to some of my friends earlier and I am glad I didnt!!!
