I am actually kind of excited. Ive used WordPress for years. But, Ive always been frustrated with it. Its too rigid. It is *not* easily extended with new functionality. Go ahead: Customize a theme. I dare you. I have a *degree* in Computer Science...and I cant STAND working with WordPress. So, today, Im kind of excited. Im putting some of the finishing touches on what I think a content management system ought to be. I think it should be about as easy to run a blog as it is to have a Facebook profile. Call me goofy. Many do. But, I think it should. I also think Twitter and its 140 character bullshit can be outdone. And, thats because this does that. A blog with actual separate status updates. That people can like. And...share. Because, why do you upload videos to YouTube? The player. And, the fact that their player integrates with Facebook. Well...what if your blog could have content channels that, when shared on facey things, played right *in* the facey thing? LOL. Sorry. It just seems obvious that technology should work more like that and less like...[cue dramatic bullshit music]...WordPress. -Rob [the attached is the ONLY thing I listen to when I have to go in on some WordPress.
