I am addicted, I have to admit it I have become addicted to the voice of God speaking softly into my spirit and to the quickening of his word to my mind. To feel the gentle drawing by his love to utter words of praise and worship, to know his unconditional love encompasses me. SO Gentle, SO Kind, SO Intimate. To love and be loved with a purity and confidence of sincerity. He encamps about me to utterly protect me from harm, malice and the desires of evil that my enemies would send to entrap me. Oh what a wonderful addiction! As the first kiss of new love so my heart swells with my desire to please him MY father, MY god, My redeemer, MY love. My lips are silent as I cannot find the words to express my heart, yet my spirit sings in communion with his spirit. The sweet scent of my worship rises to his throne, washing over my Lord as if annointed with perfumes Grant me your wisdom Oh Lord, may my mouth be full of your goodness, your encouragement and your blessings. May life and its circumstances not enslave and dominate me but serve as my footstool as I sit at the right hand of God. I quench my thirst at the fountain of his compassion as I draw from the well of his knowledge, he continually moistens my lips with the kisses of his devotion. OH HOW I AM LOVED AND I IN RETURN LOVE Blessed father, creator of all my days, giver of all good things, redeemer by the shedding of your blood Look upon your child and smile, gain delight from my simplicity of faith and my upturned face which delights in looking upon your holiness. Breathe upon the fire of my salvation which you have ignited within me. Smite the enemy of doubt, of timidity and of uncertainty with the hot coals of confidence, with the sword of honesty and with the dagger of righteousness as I hold high the shield of his protection against deceit and untruthful utterances. AMEN
