I am after a little advice from the experienced ultra runners on here. Am doing my first ultra in March which is the millennium way (mostly road ?) normally wear Adidas adizero tempo 6 which serve me well in training and marathon distance. After a little more cushioning for tired legs on the extra distance and found a good deal on Inov 8 race ultra 290. Are they okay for use on Tarmac/road or just for trail ? Any advice would be much appreciated
